Travel Maui

Maui is said to be one of the most beautiful of the Hawaiian islands. Since spending 7 days wandering around the island to many of the different parts of Maui I was shocked at the different landscapes the island has to offer. From dry grasslands to lush green tropical oasis.

If you plan on visiting the island here are some photos I captured during our adventure and some tips to navigating the landscapes.

Beautiful Family Oriented Backyard Wedding & Garden Dinner Party Reception

Patti & Tom were together a very long time before they decided to make it legal. When I asked "why now?" they replied "it felt right."

And so it was. The most perfect, family oriented, backyard wedding. Complete with my favorite way to spend the evening with a dinner party style reception.

Adventurous Engagement Session Eastern North Carolina

If there is ever a place that will take your breath away on the east coast, I would say the Blue Ridge + Great Smokey Mountains is one of them. Gorgeous rolling hills, greenery everywhere, the perfect weather.

Ashlyn & Chase were so much fun to work with. It really just felt like hanging out with a couple of friends. They really loved the romantic, candid style and I think we really nailed the vibes for these. Their wedding being in the same mountain range it made sense to come back for their engagements.

Romantic Date night in Washington DC

Kaitlyn and Ryker recently had a special photoshoot that was inspired by Taylor Swift's song "All Too Well" and a visit to the National Gallery of Art Museum. During their session, they decided to treat it like a romantic date night and documented all of their favorite activities.
